Evaluation Question 3

From this feedback I would change certain things about it such as insert more colour rather than  sticking with the mustard theme, this seemed to be common throughout my audience feedback so I would definitely incorporate this if I were to do this again. From doing a small focus group, found that my audience would like to see more of the future and if he makes his dream or not. I also found that people loved that I chose not to focus on the narrative and base my music video on a home-movie performance however, aspects of the narrative would like to be seen more as a help along his journey. I also found that my audience would prefer it if I included more gripping effects such as 3D effects. My audience said that they would like to see a montage of my character growing up which I think would work well with the home-movie style, so I would definitely include this montage if I were to do tis product again. one member of my focus group said they would've liked to see aspects of him falling in love that then spurts out in a different narrative.

Things my audience of the focus group liked was the focus on the characters dream and how we get to see his individual personality rather than already being moulded into a 'star image'. Some say the use of my edits were cinematic and illustrative to portraying the short narrative. This links with another person saying the fact that I used a performance video and focussed on the character really set the home-movie vibe which I was my intention.
