Audience Profile for Pop Music

I have selected the band One Direction to do my research on, as they are a pop band

that I am a fan of, I enjoy listening to their music and I am interested in what their other fans interests, hobbies and personalities are like and to help me provide questions so that I can gather ideas for my target audience for my music video as I am doing the same genre. As you can see from my research, the most fans of the band One Direction are the younger generation of females with hardly any skills and a low monthly income. They prefer the male celebrities in the business, those mainly involved in the music industry and movie industry, showing that they are a fan of “The Arts”. All the favourite bands/artists are pop singers too and have an interest in reality TV with an interest in chick flick and romance genre films.
